Particular forms include transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, etc. Anti-LGBTQIA+ sentiments often rely on moral panic and conspiracy theories. LGBTQIA+ movements and individuals are often portrayed by bigots as subversive and foreign, similar to earlier conspiracy theories targeting Jews and communists.
