The American Council of Bolsheviks (ACB) was a Marxist–Leninist pre-party formation in the United States formed in August 2022. The ACB was headed by a provisional central committee, and maintained the newspaper New Spark as well as the Institute for Marxist–Leninist Education.[1] It was created following a split in the revisionist Party of Communists USA after its leadership violated organizational principles. The ACB would continue to exist until December 2023, when it disbanded under the pressures of both a lawsuit from the PCUSA as well as internal disagreements.[2]
