Ten Points of Unity
Communist Labor Organization

1. Democratic Centralism

The Marxist–Leninist party operates on the basis of democratic centralism. Democratic centralism provides us with both freedom in discussion and unity in action. Cadres may express any and all concerns, proposals, and opinions which are to be discussed collectively among the organization. If adopted, these measures are to be followed by all.

2. Dialectical and Historical Materialism

The outlook of the communist party is dialectical and historical materialism. Through dialectical materialism, we are able to understand the interrelation between things, their movement, changes, and contradictions. It is in historical materialism that we understand the nature of class development and struggle throughout history.

3. Commodity Production

Commodity production has existed for nearly all of human history, and its presence during the lower stage of socialism will persist. In agrarian countries where socialism has been established, commodity production is unavoidable due to the large numbers of small and medium producers. Socialist commodity production will serve to benefit the whole society until the conditions emerge for its abolition.

4. Socialism In One Country

Through the example of the October Revolution, a socialist revolution has been shown to be possible in one country or grouping of countries, even in the imperial periphery. The victory of socialism in one country is not an end goal, but a developmental stage towards the victory of socialism globally.

5. Repudiation of All Revisionist Trends

Revisionism is a counter-revolutionary movement which serves to corrupt and liquidate the communist movement from the inside. Revisionism introduces chauvinist, reformist, and opportunist deviations into Marxism to make it suitable to the bourgeoisie. As such, the struggle against all manifestations of revisionism in the international communist movement is a core element to the general struggle against capitalism.

6. The Vanguard Party

A socialist revolutions requires the formation of a Marxist–Leninist party composed of the most militant and politically-advanced detachment of the proletariat (the vanguard) to head the struggle against capitalism. The vanguard party is entrusted by the masses to fight for its interests and lead the revolution and dictatorship of the proletariat.

7. Inclusivity

A communist party must be inclusive to all progressive segments of the working class willing to participate in class struggle. Solidarity and the inclusion of all skilled, unskilled, and sex workers of all support needs is essential to the formation of a revolutionary movement. This includes especially marginalized segments such as sex workers.

8. Proletarian Internationalism

The struggle for emancipation from capitalism is global in scope, and the proletariat of all countries share common hardships and class interests. Solidarity with the international working class and communist is a necessity, as is the rejection of all forms of bourgeois nationalism, chauvinism, and racism.

9. Revolution Subjugates Reformism

Socialist revolution is the aim of revolutionaries under capitalism. The limited, tactical participation of a communist party in bourgeois parliament is appropriate based on the circumstances, yet all gains which are yielded from the capitalist state are inherently temporary and restricted. The ruling class will never concede its privilege peacefully, rendering revolution a necessity.

10. Opposition to All Imperialist Camps

The international communist movement must deem all imperialist and social-imperialist camps as equally reactionary. To support one imperialist grouping (e.g. Russia and China) over another can be nothing other than a betrayal of internationalism and capitulation to the bourgeoisie. Revolutionary defeatism is the only Leninist course in times of imperialist conflict.
