Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is a big-tent organization in the United States. It was founded on March 20 1982 by Michael Harrington and others. While there exists a range of tendencies in DSA, most of it is composed of social democrats represented by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
The Democratic Socialists of America is an associate member of the São Paulo Forum and member of the Progressive International.
