The Russian Maoist Party (RMP)[a] is a communist party in the Russian Federation which upholds Marxism–Leninism–Maoism. It was established on June 9, 2000.
The RMP is an anti-revisionist formation. The party accepts the legacy of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party, and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union until 1953, disapproving of of De-Stalinization, carried out by revisionist leader Nikita Khrushchev after his Secret Speech. They also accept the legacy of the Communist Party of China up until 1976, following the Death of Mao Zedong, and the ensuing capitalist restoration carried out by Deng Xiaoping. The party considers the succeeding regimes of Nikita Khrushchev and Leonid Brezhnev to be social-imperialist, and the post-Soviet regimes of Boris Yeltsin and Vladimir Putin to be totalitarian continuations of the Soviet revisionist regime.
The party formerly had fraternal relations with the Maoist Internationalist Movement and currently with the International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations, also RMP is known as member of the International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations.
