Anti-LGBTQIA+ sentiments encompasses multiple forms of bigotry and prejudice towards members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Particular forms include transphobia, homophobia, etc. Anti-LGBTQIA+ sentiments often rely on moral panic and conspiracy theories. LGBTQIA+ movements and individuals are often portrayed by bigots as subversive and foreign, similar to earlier conspiracy theories targeting Jews and communists.
