Progressive Democratic Tribune also known as al-Minba is a self-proclaimed communist party, it was established by returning exiles from the National Liberation Front – Bahrain in 2001 making it effectively the successor of the NLF.
The party also has a youth organisation called Shabeeba Society of Bahrain, who is a member of the World Federation of Democratic Youth.
