Heather Maddox

Howdy!

My name is Heather Maddox, previously known as Heather Mason and Hazel Walker.I am currently a student attending (not telling you lol) for a degree in Education. I plan on teaching history one day. I am a transgender woman, going by she/her pronouns, and I hail from the good ol' US' of A.

It is very nice to meet all of you.

My Background

I come from a military family, so I moved around a lot in my childhood. That paired with my tism made it a little hard for me to make friends. So I spent most of my time growing up immersed in video games, history, philosophy, and books. y'know, like normal kids. I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormon Church), being baptised as a Mormon at eight. However, I grew disillusioned with the Mormon church by the time I was eleven and have since renounced the faith I was raised with.

When I was thirteen years old, in my freshman year of high school I became a communist after reading the Communist Manifesto, remaining a leftist since. I would go on to communicate with several parties, ultimately being turned down for my age, leading me to lie about my age to become a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). However my local DSA cell was very inactive in my area and ignored all of my attempts at correspondence - leading me to become disillusioned with the prospect of working with them.

I would go on to become one of the founders of the Red Spectre[1] as a political organization alongside my at the time comrade, Philip Kovalchik; and I have worked on a small blogging project called Heather Mason Review[2], which I may change the name of later to reflect my change in alias.

I have been involved with and maintained corespondence with a few groups since then which I will not name for the sake of anonymity.
