Stalinism–Hoxhaism[a] is a revolutionary communist ideology. Stalinism–Hoxhaism holds that Marxism–Leninism underwent a qualitative development with the experience of the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin and Socialist Albania under Enver Hoxha and their respective contributions. Stalinism–Hoxhaism thus defines itself as being the socialist doctrine in the era of constructed socialism along with imperialist and social-imperialist encirclement.
Stalinism–Hoxhaism is mainly upheld as the leading theory of the Communist International (Stalinist–Hoxhaists). Other organizations which uphold Hoxha, such as the International Conference of Marxist–Leninist Parties and Organizations, reject his role as a foundational Marxist theorist or that his contributions constituted a major development of Marxism.[1]
