Mao Zedong and the CPC more broadly have been criticized by some anti-revisionist Marxist–Leninists, particular those who follow the line of Enver Hoxha, for multiple reasons, including alleged class collaboration. Hoxha himself did not characterize the Chinese revolution as socialist, but bourgeois.[1]
