Reactionary populists Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro.

Right-wing populism, also known as reactionary populism or national populism, is a reactionary rightist tendency common in imperialist countries. This strand of populism appeals to the most backwards section of the working class and petite-bourgeoisie and redirect grievances caused by class struggle towards endeavors which benefit the bourgeoisie such as racism, conspiracy theories, ableism, sexism, and anti-LGBTQIA+ sentiments.

Right-wing populism often verges on abandonment of bourgeois democracy and installation of fascist dictatorship. This tendency emerges in times of capitalist crisis and often contains significant neo-fascist elements. Many right-wing populist movements are considered proto-fascist and predecessors to fully fascist tendencies.
