Fredrick Allen Hampton Sr. (August 30, 1948 – December 4, 1969) was a New Afrikan revolutionary communist who lead the Chicago chapter of the Black Panther Party and founded the anti-racist and anti-classist Rainbow Coalition, which intersected numerous racial groups for its common cause. He was targeted and assasinated by COINTELPRO, the FBI, and the Chicago police in his home on December 4, 1969. [1]
