Accusations and Lies targeting the New People's Army
Revisionists (especially Dengists and Trotskyists), anti-communists, and the Philippine old state have made numerous false accusations against the New People's Army in a way to discredit their protection of the people. These "evidences" have been used to label them as a "Terrorist Organization"
"Child Soldiers"
A popular accusation used by the government and Dengists is the New People's Army's recruitment of minors. Evidence of this is from accounts from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) showing alleged "NPA" fighters mostly consisting of innocent villagers, including children, surrendering to them. But in fact, most of "surrenders" were staged by the AFP. And, ironically, the AFP has done alot more harm to innocence, especially children, from their constant false arrests.
Plaza Miranda Bombing (1971)
