Social-imperialism is, as Lenin put it, "socialist in words and imperialist in deeds." Before the USSR, social imperialists were Kautsky and his clique, in their support for Germany in the inter-imperialist World War I. In modern times, social-imperialist powers are bigger and more powerful, and often claim to be Leninists. These include China and the Soviet revisionists.
