Fish hook theory
Fish hook theory is a political concept that links the far-right with centrists and liberals. It posits that centrists enable fascism. It contrasts with "horseshoe theory", which posits that the far-left and far-right are similar, while fish hook theory argues that the far-right curves towards the center, making them more similar to centrists.
Centrists and liberals have always historically sided with fascist governments over socialist ones, proving the validity of fish hook theory.
