Agriculture

Agriculture, also known as farming, is the organized practice of cultivating plants and livestock. The initial usage of agriculture was one of the major factors that led to the formation of civilization as well as the creation of class-based society. Populations which adopted agriculture generally shifted from nomadic, hunter-gatherer primitive communism to modes of production such as slavery.
