Flag of the "World Anti-Imperialist Platform".

On October 14, 2022, 14 opportunist parties signed the "Paris Declaration", titled in full as "the rising tide of global war and the tasks of anti-imperialists", in an initiative led by the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist–Leninist). This declaration established the program of what is known as the so-called "World Anti-Imperialist Platform" ("WAP").

And so, what is the nature of this "World Anti-Imperialist Platform"?

The "WAP", since its founding, represents an organ which is contaminated with all the issues which plague the revolutionary communist movement — chauvinism, revisionism, and social-imperialism. The "WAP" seeks to undermine the basic foundation of Marxism to make it suitable to the interests of the imperialist Russo-Chinese bourgeoisie and the eastern camp of imperialist powers.

Marxist–Leninist–Maoists must oppose all that which the "WAP" and its pseudo-"anti-imperialism" embodies without hesitation.

An organ of chauvinism

The WAP cannot distance itself from the obvious social-chauvinism in its membership. The Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist–Leninist) is infamous for being a party which rejects "gender ideology" as being a "reactionary nightmare" and "divisive".

Other organizations with the WAP include the Center for Political Innovation and "American Communist Party" (which is neither communist, nor a party, but an internet clique of reactionaries turncoats), which embrace settler-colonial ideology, endorse the neo-fascist Trumpist movement, and have bourgeois expansionist aims with regard to Canada and other countries.

An organ of social-imperialism

An organ of revisionism

The leading parties of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform such as the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist–Leninist) brand themselves as Marxist–Leninist. Marxism–Leninism was the leading theory of the international proletariat, upheld by Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong, prior to 1988, when it developed into Marxism–Leninism–Maoism.

Yet to say that the makeup of the WAP is Marxist–Leninist would be a grave departure from reality. In the ranks of the WAP are multiple non-Marxist–Leninist, pseudo-communist and non-communist formations, most notable being the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, an organization which has diverted the revolutionary aims of the Venezuelan people into its social-fascist agenda and persecuted communists while advocating a "socialism of the 21st century."
