Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist)
The Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) CPI(ML) was an Indian communist party founded in 1969 by the All India Committee of Communist Revolutionaries (AICCR) at a congress in Calcutta. It was founded on the 99th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Lenin and eventually splintered into several different Naxalite groups. The general secretary was Charu Majumdar, who promoted a people's war in India.|
