Third World
The Third World is comprised of the countries which are least developed and most exploited by imperialism. The Third World is the subject of imperialism by the First and to a lesser extent Second World. The imperialist countries export capital to the Third World and conquer them through various means to gain sole access to their resources. Wars are fought over the partition and repartition of the Third World between rival imperialist blocs. However, the exploitation brought upon the Third World slowly results in the development of a national consciousness which may wage revolutionary struggle against the imperialist powers.
Because of these factors, the Third World is often considered by communists to have the most revolutionary potential.
