The Russian Federation, commonly known as Russia, is a capitalist and imperialist state primarily located Eastern Europe and North Asia. Since its founding in 1991 during the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation has become one of the foremost imperialist superpowers in the modern world.[1][2]
