Polish People's Republic
(Redirected from PPR)
The Polish People's Republic,[a], known as the Republic of Poland[b] between 1947 to 1952, commonly known as Socialist Poland, was a socialist state and people's democracy which existed between 1947 to 1989, when it was dissolved and replaced with the modern Republic of Poland.
It was ruled by the Polish United Workers' Party, which underwent a revisionist transition around the time of 1956 with the fall of the Soviet Union to revisionism.
