Commie is an anti-communist pejorative term often used to refer to communists, real or perceived. The term is associated with red-baiting and McCarthyism, in which anti-communists erroneously accuse their political adversaries of being associated with "communists".[1]

"Bolshie"

Bolshie was a derogatory term used largely in the United Kingdom to refer to any left-wing political figure which was perceived as being a supporter of the Russian Bolsheviks. It was used in a similar manner to "commie".[2]

"Bolo"

Bolo was first used by British soldiers when referring to Soviet forces during their invasion of Russia during the Russian Civil War. It was later used by Nazis such as Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels to refer to organizations and movements associated with the Communist International.
