Alexander Bogdanov was Russian Bolshevik who led the primary anti-Leninist factions within the RSDLP (B), the Otzovists and Vpered. Lenin made many works countering the ideas of the Otzovists and the Vperedists, this led him to eventually leave the Bolsheviks and later the Vperedists. He also led the Prolekult movement which was widely criticized for being Petit bourgeois. He died after having a blood transfusion with someone that had Malaria in his search for immortality.[1][2]
