Huey Percy Newton (February 17, 1942 – August 22, 1989) was a New Afrikan revolutionary who co-founded the Black Panther Party, alongside Bobby Seale, and formulated its ideology and its important documents. He rejected Historical materialism as being "dogmatist" and introduced an ideology of Intercommunalism to replace Revolutionary nationalism and Internationalism.[1]
