Whatifalthist, operated by the pseudo-intellectual Rudyard Lynch,[1] is an alt-right YouTube channel which was formerly dedicated to "alternative history" scenarios. The channel is infamous for its lack of sourcing and usage of "history" to promote a white supremacist agenda, with him using terms such as "Western" as a dogwhistle to refer to white people. Despite previously focusing on historical topics, his channel is now dedicated to modern politics.
Being active since 2013, the channel, as of September 2025, has around 729,000 subscribers and 134,769,799 views.
