Nuova Egemonia is an Italian collective founded in 2020 dedicated to the refounding of the Italian Communist Party on the basis of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.[1] It identifies Maoism as the "third and highest stage" of proletarian ideology and seeks to develop a "Specific Thought" (Pensiero Specifico) for Italy by synthesising the universal principles of Maoism with the revolutionary theories of Antonio Gramsci.
