Europe

Europe is a continent^[a] located in the Northern Hemisphere. It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Mediterranean Sea to the south, Arctic Ocean to the North, and shares a land border with Asia to the east. With a population of 744,853,129 people^[b] and total area of around 10 million km², it is the sixth largest continent geographically and third most populated.^[1]^[2]
