The Communist Party of Kenya[a] (CPK) is a revisionist political party in the Republic of Kenya. It was founded in 1992 as the Social Democratic Party and, while rebranding itself as a communist party, has covertly maintained its support for the capitalist system in Kenya.
Ideology
The CPK regards the modern People's Republic of China as a socialist states and more broadly supports the revisionist theory of "actually existing socialism."[1]
