Eugen Berthold Friedrich Brecht (10 February 1898 – 14 August 1956), known as Bertolt Brecht, was a Marxist poet and playwright who has written socialist critiques of theater and culture and has composed many revolutionary music. He was educated into Marxism by Karl Korsch and has collaborated with many communist artists like Hanns Esler.[1]
