Javier Milei (1970–) is a far-right Argentine politician and economist who has acted as the President of Argentina since December 2023. A self-described anarcho-capitalist,[2] Milei was placed in a position of power by the Argentine ruling class in the context of a capitalist crisis and failing economy.[3] Milei's governance has been dominated by fascistic terror, austerity, and repression against the working class[4] accompanied with massive increases in poverty, inflation, and the cost of living.[5]
