Socialism with Chinese Characteristics[a] (abbreviated SwCC) is the fascist ideology of the modern People's Republic of China and Communist Party of China. It was developed by the capitalist roader and revisionist theorist Deng Xiaoping, who declared in 1982, "We must integrate the universal truth of Marxism with the concrete realities of China, and blaze a path of our own and build a Socialism with Chinese Characteristics".

Socialism with Chinese Characteristics denies the critical role of class struggle in the construction of socialism and instead seeks to build a class collaborationist and corporatist system in addition to promoting chauvinist and nationalist sentiments.

The term "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" is also anti-Marxist in nature, as the general laws for building socialism would be the same everywhere, even if localized material conditions are taken into account.[1]

"You speak of Sinified socialism. There is nothing of the sort in nature. There is no Russian, English, French, German, Italian socialism, as much as there is no Chinese socialism. There is only one Marxist-Leninist socialism. It is another thing, that in the building of socialism it is necessary to take into consideration the specific features of a particular country. Socialism is a science, necessarily having, like all science, certain general laws, and one just needs to ignore them and the building of socialism is destined to failure." - Joseph Stalin
