The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, known simply as Vietnam, is a revisionist state in Southeast Asia. With an area of about 331,000 square kilometres and a population of over 100 million, it is the world's fifteenth-most populous country. It is bordered by China to its north and Cambodia and Laos to its West.
