Wage inequality

Inequality of wages between genders originates in the early stages of capitalism, where capitalists started to hire children and women, due to the introduction of machines limiting needed physical power.
The capitalist prefers child labor as children aren't considered the main household income. However, this is false, as no parent would labor their children's lives away unless the child's income, if not the main one, is a considerable contribution to the household, because of capitalists exploiting the working parents by pay cuts and wage decrease by all means possible.
This wage inequality continues today where capitalists use reactionary sexist rhetoric, yet hire more women, to pay less and increase their profit.
