Bureaucrat capitalism

Bureaucrat capitalism, also known as bureaucrat-comprador capitalism, is the form of dependent capitalism which emerges in imperialized countries. In bureaucrat capitalist states, capitalism is more so imposed externally than natively developed. Bureaucrat capitalism merges with existing semi-feudal elements and represents a class alliance of state capitalists and comprador bourgeoisie.
Bureaucrat capitalism as a concept in political economy was developed by Mao Zedong and Abimael Guzmán, and is a development in the theory of Maoism.[1]
