The concentric construction of the three instruments is a theory in Marxism–Leninism–Maoism which holds that the three weapons of the revolutionary movement (the communist party, people's army, and united front) are built around each other (co-centers) and all share a common core in the party leadership (Jefatura). The mass line is a core aspect of concentric construction, with the concerns of the masses being directed towards the upper layers of the movement and solutions to these issues being delivered down.[1]
Concentric construction is an application of the principle politics in command.
