The The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist)[a] CPN (UML)) is a revisionist and reformist party that was in control of Nepal until the 2025 Nepalese Gen Z protests. The party was in coalition with the centrist Nepali Congress party, and the former revolutionary party, Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre), which waged a protracted people's war before becoming reformist.[1]
