The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF)[a] is a revisionist and social-chauvinist political party in the Russian Federation which was founded in 1993. The party regularly collaborates with the capitalist state of Russia and endorses its imperialist actions.[1] The party serves as controlled opposition for the benefit of the Russian bourgeoisie which diverts the socialist tendencies of the Russian people away from revolutionary organizations.[2]
