Proletarianrevolution.net is an opportunist, sectarian, anti-Maoist, cultist, dogmatic website which engages in religious and uncritical worship of figures such as Pol Pot instead of participating in studies in other organizations, figures, and events. Their owner "Exonerate Pol Pot" is also known to have alternative accounts across servers on platforms such as Discord.

Founding and conflicts

The website was founded somewhere around in February of 2025, primarily being operated by a user under the alias "Exonerate Pol Pot" with contributions coming from Gonmaoist (A former associate with the Proletarian Revolution Website). The website was made for the purpose of being a step forward beyond the Discord server which was the previous space of operations. Exonerate Pol Pot was the founder although he has several other alt-accounts under other aliases, such as, "Mheap", "Comrade Pol Pot", "Kampuchean Socialism" and "Cmradeo".

Somewhere around very late April of 2025, a user by the username, "red_guard_of_the_gpcr" joined the Proletarian Revolution discord server and applied to become an editor. However he was denied the position of editor due to baseless claims of, "Reactionary beliefs", "Liberal analysis disguised as Marxist critiques", and "Hostility to the Kampuchean Revolution". Subsequently prominent users in the server protested the denial of Red Guard's application including Gonmaoist and Chairman Meow, and Kampuchea Enjoyer. An argument sprung out and Gonmaoist rightfully criticized the idiotic decision. The argument lasted for a few days until Exonerate Pol Pot banned Red Guard, then banned Gonmaoist, Chairman Meow, etc.

Criticism

Proletarian Revolution has been criticized for multiple beliefs they hold, the decisions they went through with, and ideological inconsistencies, here's a list of criticisms complied by Revolupedia editors:

1. Exonerate Pol Pot claims Red Guard to have been a "Reactionary" however this is not true. Exonerate Pol Pot on his website has a forum post about the members who were, "purged". Here's Red Guard's Section:

Open hostility toward the Kampuchean revolution; dissemination of liberal critiques disguised as Marxist analysis. First of all, Red Guard was not hostile to the Kampuchean Revolution, he in fact upholded it he only said that it wasn't very relevant today it is not a "Liberal Critique" it is a fair opinion.

2. Exonerate Pol Pot upholds the "Marxist-Leninist" Party Communist Party of Greece, however they have expressed Homophobia and Ultra-Leftism in their own documents:

Our Party considers that parenthood is the relationship between the parent and the child, which on an individual level reflects the existing social relations. The basis of the position of the ΚΚΕ is the rights of the child, i.e. his social need to have ties with his mother and father. This need has an objective basis: The bilateral relationship of motherhood–fatherhood, resulting from the complementary function of man–woman in the procreation process. Laws enacted must support this right and not subvert it.

3. Exonerate Pol Pot has obvious sectarian beliefs, for example he has refused to try and accept people with differing opinions and has said that he doesn't consider people Marxist's if they hold slighting differing opinions than him.

4. Exonerate Pol Pot claims we have intentionally created this article to misrepresent and discredit them, but there we haven't misrepresented them, this is all of their words. And they have already discredited themselves, this over the top misrepresentation of Revolupedia trying to take the website down is just false, hear what they said in their own words:

It has come to our attention that a website called "Revolupedia" has published articles that misuse content from ProletarianRevolution.net to misrepresent and discredit our work.

5. They say we have stolen content from them, this is false we took information from their now defunct wiki and edited it accordingly to our standards, this is not stealing and is pretty hypocrtical on Exonerate Pol Pot's part since most of the articles on Proletarianrevolution.net are just taken from other articles, Exonerate Pol Pot calls this "Hosting" so whats wrong with hosting their information here? Again this is his words:

In a paradoxical display of their disingenuous core and flawed beliefs, they use our research and information on their website while simultaneously attempting to belittle ProletarianRevolution.net. This contradiction highlights their lack of integrity and undermines their credibility.

We strongly denounce the cultist-dogmato-revisionist site that is Proletarianrevolution.net and this will be our final statement.
