The Communist Party USA (CPUSA) is a revisionist, opportunist, and reformist political party in the United States. The party has endorsed the neoliberal Democrats and the bourgeois democratic political system in the United States[1] and its leadership rejects and distorts fundamental Marxist principles.[2] The CPUSA has expressed support for revisionist states such as the PRC and Cuba.[3][4]

In a historical context, the Communist Party USA has been under revisionist domination since the period of Earl Browder's leadership in the early 1940s when he adopted a social chauvinist line. Revisionist control continued under Gus Hall, in which the party aligned with Soviet revisionism and Khrushchevism.[5]
