Imperialism and the Revolution was first published in Albania in April 1978 among the Party of Labor of Albania. The book is divided into two parts with over 300 pages. In this book, Hoxha attacks Mao Zedong Thought being a deviation from Marxism-Leninism and "an anti-Marxist theory" alongside the "theory of the three worlds" as "a counter-revolutionary chauvinist theory".[1]
